Team

Marc

Marc: With a classic taste, and sticking close to “normal” food as possible. You can depend on Marc’s reviews for the Meat and Potato crowd.

His hard fast rule of “if it lived in, near, or around the water, I am not eating it” is slowly starting to go away, so you will now see a slightly more diverse selection for review.

Considered by many (being me) to be the founder, corner store, and maintainer of www.tweetsoneats.com.

Benjie

Benjie

Benjie: Brings a certain international flair to the team. He holds no punches in his reviews and is known to like to stick with what he knows. You can count on his reviews to focus on the healthy choice menu items, unless the review is on cocktail hour (which can vary wildly for Benjie).

Birgit as her day job!

Birgit at her day job!

Birgit rounds out the team with by taking away what the rest of us consider the be the foundation of any good meal: THE MEAT.

Thats right, to be sensitive to our vegetarian readers we have decided to ban Birgit from eating meat so we can have balanced content here.

With dedication like that to the team you can count on some honest reviews.

*editors note * this really goes against my motto of “if it did not bleed, it can’t be a meal”

Jarrod (jcon)

Jarrod brings the grit to TweetsOnEats. While is takes sometime to understand his review methodology, once you do have it cracked you will find it accurate, and for some inspiring. We first looked for the “method in his madness”  but soon realized that madness is what he has to work with. Jarrod delivers his reports in the form of finger paintings that for now we are interpreting for the site (thank god we double as art critics), but are looking to acquire  a scanner so we can skip the interpretation step and simply post his results.

You will also note that there is no photo of Jarrod. This is due mainly to the fact that he has never had his photo taken, and his likeness has only been captured on paper once.

Steven P:

Steven in a "Lamb Coma"

Today Steven professed “I am picky, not fussy”, but was also know he just likes to complain. Most of Steven’s ratings will run on a slightly different rating scale. Where most of our reviewers rely on the old x/10 system, Steven has developed a much more advanced “Coma” system. This relies on an accurate measurement of how tired, or close to coma, he is within 33 minutes of eating.  The baseline for this scale is set by a roasted lamb lunch. the coma scale is set to curry lamb from Rice and Spice, being a 5.
