Well here it is, TweetsOnEats is really starting to kick it off. After a planning for a ridiculously  long time we are now ready to get going. In order to come out of the gates at a good clip we need get bring on some talent. Not to say that those we have now are not talented… but we need some talents outside of eating.

iPhone Developer – Software Engineer. Location – anywhere

TweetsOnEats is looking for an experienced iPhone developer to help us build our iOS application. If you have experience with development from concept to delivery that would be great. Having an eye, and ideas, for clean interface is also a major plus. Having a background in location aware applications, and twitter API are also brownie points.

What you will do:

• Create applications for iphone, and other iOS devices
• Work closely with other teams to create/vette new features
• be ready to eat lots of food, and be able to review your lunch!

Required Skills:

• 1+ years experience in Application development on iOS in Objective C is a must.
• Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance
• Strong OO design and development experience
• Experience with iPhone SDK
• Good understanding of the tradeoffs between native apps, web-apps and html5 apps
• Able to work with data from outside API’s
• Ability to understand and parse XML, JSON and serialized data
• Understanding of Multi-threaded interface design

Software Engineer – Web Application Developer

TweetsOnEats is looking for a Software Developer who likes to take leisurely lunches, review said lunch, and after the food coma wares off type out some code to make our web application kick ass.

Working directly with the other teams this person will hold the reins for our web interface. Having a background with other start-ups, or with being part of a project from the get go would be a good asset.

You should posses some of the following (hint: the more the better)

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Track record of building cool web applications
• Expert in at least one compiled language and one dynamic scripting language
• Strong familiarity with SQL database programming & performance
• Excellent proficiency in *NIX development environments
• Excellent understanding of how Internet and Web technologies work
